  • The Connect First Scholarship

      • (1) $1000 scholarship to a student who writes a 1000-1500 word essay about technology and business topics. 
 

 
  • UnderRecruited Preps $2000 Student-Athlete Scholarship For 9-12 graders
    • Deadline is Sun Jan 6, 2019
      • For 9th-12th graders. (1) $2000 scholarship. You must build a profile at UnderRecruitedPrep.com to connect with coaches who are actively recruiting for many college sports; write a 100-500 word article. Must have a GPA of 3.0 at time of application and plan on continuing your athletic career at the next level.
  • Alworth Memorial Fund Scholarships
    • Deadline is Tues Jan 15, 2019
      • For Science and Math Majors can receive $20K over 4 years. This is a large local scholarship fund based out of Duluth. Apply Today!

One is the Fox 21 Strength in the Community Scholarship which is (11) $1k scholarships and (2) $2500 - 4 year (or $5k for 2 years).For seniors with a GPA between 2.5 and 3.5 with Expected Family Contribution for college (EFC) less than $25,000. Students must complete the FAFSA to find their EFC. Submit the DSACF Common Application by Jan 15, 2019 along with a transcript, 2 letters of recommendation and a 350 word essay addressing the following questions: What do you love about your community, what would convince you to live here after college graduation, and what contributions will you make to the area's future."

 
 
 
  • Carquest Autoparts of Grand Rapids Scholarship
    • Deadline Fri March 1, 2019 (will also be part of the ISD #318 Common Application)
      • (1) $500 scholarship for seniors attending a school pursuing a certificate or degree in the automotive aftermarket (technician, heavy duty, diesel, auto body, parts sales or similar automotive industry career. Email hclairmont@isd318.org for application or stop into counseling for a paper application. 
 
  • Experimental Aircraft Association Scholarship 
    • Deadline is Friday March 1, 2019
      • (1) $750 scholarship for a student (must be at least 16 and doesn't have to be graduating) interested in getting their pilots license, or pursuing a degree to be an Air Traffic controller, Aircraft mechanic or Airport manager. Get an email or paper application from hclairmont@isd318.org or stop into the counseling office. 


 
  • Michigan Tech Iron Range Alumni Scholarship
    • Deadline is Friday March 1, 2019
      • (2) $500 scholarships to Iron Range HS students attending Michigan Tech in the top 1/4 of their class. Application is in counseling office with Mrs Clairmont.

      • (1) $500 Scholarship to students passionate about business & marketing. Write an essay with an understanding of the business & creates value for their customers. 
 
  • Clean Air Choice Biodiesel Scholarship
