Grand Rapids High School (GRHS) is home to more than 1,200 students with more than 200 courses that offer our students excellent educational opportunities. Few institutions of learning rival the academic, athletic and fine arts opportunities available to the students of GRHS, and all while maintaining an unmatched sense of community and personal attention.
In addition to high school course work, students can also earn college credits while at GRHS with UMD College in the Schools (CITS) program, International Baccalaureate (IB) and Post-Secondary Education Options (PSEO). GRHS is proud to be the only rural district in Minnesota to offer the IB program.
Other options available to prepare our students for post-secondary opportunities include the Career Pathways program. The Career Pathways classes are designed to train students for careers in healthcare and manufacturing fields. Students receive college credit from Itasca Community College, make connections in their fields, and have real-world experience opportunities with internships.
We believe that all students can learn and we are prepared to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, parents, and the community to achieve this shared educational purpose.
